About the show, and me.

I fell in love with a camera at the age of eight. My dad first lent me his Minolta film camera while we were camping in the deserts of Abu Dhabi. From that moment on I saw life through a lens, attempting to capture fleeting moments of time.

The view-finder guided me through the shadows and highlights of my life.

I moved to Canada to start a new chapter of life in engineering school. In my second year of school, a chance encounter with a photographer shooting on the same camera as my dads, led to a conversation, then an improptu photoshoot which blossomed into an unrelenting obsession with the art of photography. The deeper I went into that world the more things started to feel right. From printing for hours in a darkroom, to paying the bills developing film for others, to shooting with large format cameras, immersing myself in art gave meaning to my days.

I now find myself working in the fashion industry as both a photographer and creative director.

Throughout my artistic career, nothing has brought me more joy than freezing a moment in time.

Moving Worlds depicts a journey through the various landscapes life has taken me to. From the deserts of Abu Dhabi, to the cities of Canada, to the breathtaking wilderness around us all.
